The DOI allows us to provide a permanent, unique link to online publications. The Digital Object Identifier (DOI;) System is for identifying content objects in the digital environment. This is assigned to many scientific papers and provides a unique permanent link to the paper in question. These are typically of the form 10.1039/b911447e. The system is managed by the DOI Foundation.
