Abstract: We propose a simple method to determine the structure and morphology of nanoparticle protein complexes. By combining a separation method with online size measurements, density measurements and circular dichroism, we could identify the number of proteins bound to each nanoparticle and their secondary structure changes in the complex. This method provides much-needed experimental information on the interaction of proteins with nanoparticles and on the behavior of nanoparticles in biological systems
